The Verve are getting back together (without Simon Tong)!
They are "filming" (or planning to film) CORALINE in Portland! No matter how I slagged off the book, I think it's going to be a super kickass movie (that was my problem with the book; it's a film treatment, not a novel. I'm all for cross-media fun times, but seriously, Gaiman should have worked on it a little bit better).
New Chemical Brothers record! Yay! And the Music from Deadwood CD is at the library! Now maybe they can step it up with getting me Deadwood season 3... and The Wire season 3... I ought to give up on waiting for Buffy season 1 and just go rent the damn thing if I ever want to see it. (Anybody local own it, that I can borrow?...)
I'm ditching out on a free entry to Scott McCloud's lecture on Comics Storytelling tonight so that I can take a nice long, vigorous walk and write tonight instead. (Is that one of the signs of addiction - choosing to engage in your behavior rather than do things that would benefit you? Whatever. I'm exhausted and I need to get this freakin' story written or it's going to make my head explode. Also, it will save me money - if I don't need to go get dinner out, I can stay home and eat some of that giant bunch of broccoli I bought on Tuesday. Must write and not watch the second season of The Venture Bros.... I've been naughty. But sometimes I'm too tired even to write, especially this knotty bastard I'm working on now, which requires a crapload of research.)
... too tired to think of anything else right now... I almost want to call the doctor and find out what's up, but if it's just garden-variety fatigue, they can't do anything about it anyway. I will try exercising more and see if that helps. I just hope it's not pouring rain when I get off work.
