Fuck Azureus; with the help of Transmission I finally snagged the episode. (Mark, thanks for your help, but that file demands exclusive use of Windows-only software.) So I get to watch the finale again tonight, and we'll see if it makes me more angry, or soothes me slightly. At the moment, I am fairly annoyed at the Heroes writing staff for not being better writers than I am - seriously, what do I pay them for? Whatever; they still get $60 of my money on August 28th when the DVD comes out, and I will definitely be back for season 2.
Anybody know the best way of being able to acquire a DVD-ROM drive for a Mac G4 tower? I want to get the part and replace it myself, even though it's so easy it's not even going to be satisfying to crack the case. I mean, it will - popping a computer case is always satisfying to me. Maybe I can ask the Reedies in CIS if they've got any parts lying around that I could buy/take off their hands.
I am really sad about my fingernails. One of them broke on Monday, just as I was about to leave the house to go to the Hawthorne Theater, so I cut them all back down to the quicks except for the thumbnails. So I never got a photograph of them in their glory. Oh well; being humble is good, I guess. And maybe it's a sign that I should start playing guitar again. At the very least, typing is now as fluid and natural and fast as it ought to be.
