Oops, the Oscars already started and here I am just mellowing out and reading the Heroes TWoP boards.
What did I miss?

DREAMGIRLS MEDLEY Y'ALL. The reason why I'm watching! Damn, I wish the songs were better, but they're really like warmed-over Gladys Knight & the Pips. J.Hud! Her voice is just so muscular. Beyonce's weave looks smashing and she knows it, too. Her voice has not fully developed yet - what she needs is a really good nervous breakdown to really center her in it. She should kick it with Dionne Warwick for a bit. Until then, Sasha can't say boo to me. And... um... Annika Rose... whatsername. No "And I Am Telling You", which I understand - that song is way too elaborate for an Oscar ceremony. Actually, that wasn't that special. Oh well, I have my memories.

Super good on Melissa Etheridge for thanking her wife. We need some more of that. Ellen should have trotted out Portia de Rossi and then made out with her on stage.
