This week's Battlestar Galactica. The big one - the pre-hiatus climax. I cannot d/l it because my clients are all messed up and I can't figure out how to fix them. I AM NOT PLEASED. I NEED MY DOPE. Help. A videotape; anything. PLEASE HELP.
This is the last time - as of the last week of the month, Comcast wins, and I go back to full digital cable. The fuckers. I hate them with the fire of a million burning suns, but I can't deal with all this bullshit of running around frantically trying to watch my goddamn shows. I know it's pathetic, but goddammit, this is what I like, what I care about, where my mind is, where my heart is. It sucks enormously that it costs so much to watch a single TV show, but there it is - and at least I'll (technically) be able to "afford" it, although it means that I can't do any short-term bursts of awesomeness, like travelling or buying new things. You know what, though? At least for right now, that's fine. I won't buy new things. I won't travel. JUST GIVE ME THE STORY. NOW.
See why I didn't watch TV at all for years? This is what happens when I do. Then again, things were different then; there was a lot more real-life drama, and there just wasn't TV as good as there is now. I didn't use to be like this. I miss the olden days when I only used the internet at work and only watched 1 hour of TV a week at most. I was freer, then; I was younger and I had energy to go out clubbing at night and a job with hours that would allow me to do that.
Fuck getting older. Fuck life. Fuck everything. Give me my fucking show.
