Thomas Dolby is still teh sex.
( I just realized that this is really long. Sorry. Wrote most of this last night, still drunk and excited... the later, complainy parts are the next morning, looking back soberly... but yes, he really is hot, at least to me, for real. )

Man....now I am jealous. I want to see Mr. Dolby. The whole 'mad scientist/cyborg geek/sexy mad professor' thing works for me. Seriously.

Wow. I can only hope he graces my coast now. I will definately go see him, even if I have to go alone.

I am glad he did 'Airhead' as well, though puzzled by inclusion of 'Europa' (though the song is wonderful). I see I will have to pull out my 'Retrospectacle' cd tomorrow night.

If he didn't play "Europa" I would have burned the fucking place down. I just wish he hadn't tried to make us sing along to it - it's no anthem, lemme tell ya.

Man, there is NOTHING like seeing that man's dimple in person. It's just astonishing. He's. So. Foxy.

No singalongs to that song from now then. :) But it's mad that 'Airhead' wasn't a bigger song- that album was quite good.

And I LOVE the dimple. OMG. Ah think ah may faint....

The completely bald thing I'm only so into... but the semi-cyborg, mad-scientist getup with about twenty different things strapped to his head, I absolutely can get behind.

This made me LOL.

Great review. I've always had an enormous amount of respect for Mr. Dolby so this is highly entertaining for me to read.

Also, I'm hot for Ron Mael, so you know.

He more or less wasn't, until quite recently. I have no idea/don't remember why he's doing so now - I read his blog, but haven't checked out his main site very much. Maybe I should.

Listen to it. And go get "Airhead" too, it's seriously underrated.
