so the time before last that i dj'ed at o2, the most gorgeous girl i have ever spoken to came up to the booth and complemented the music i was playing. i was really busy trying to beat match the next song so i couldnt really talk and im sure i came off as a jerk. then a while later, she came back and started talking to me about how great the music was. once again, i couldnt really talk. later on, i saw her at the bar so i threw on a 30 minute track and went to the bar to get a drink. she looked over and said " by the way my name is ..... its nice to meet you". i then told her i would make her a mix of some of the stuff that i play sometime. she giggled. then she grabbed a napkin and wrote down her number and said she had to go. i called her a few days later. someone told me she was in the shower but that she would have her call me back. she never did. this was the most beautiful girl i have seen in ages. and she likes portishead, tricky, and all the other stuff i spin. she was even able to name one of the really obscure bossa bands that i played. the question is, why godamnit? why? oh well. i guess the moral is to go to o2 on tuesdays and hit on me , no cover................................... thanks.
