it's been a few days...
I know it's been a few days since I've been able to post, but we all know how life responsibilities interfere with our life's enjoyments and fun. I've had some really great days of late. Altho work has kind of been jerking me around but this is no surprise. About two weeks ago they decided that the charge nurses all had to be ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified. When I hired on, only full time charges had to be certified. The relief charges didn't. Now all of the sudden they have changd their minds and allowed us no grace period at all. Our big boss, Michelle, told me I would not be allowed to charge until I got credentialed. I was originally going to charge Saturday and Sunday, my usual nights to charge. They changed my shift and got someone else to charge Sunday, but still had me charging on Saturday. Well, bullshit! If I can't charge Sunday, obviously I can't charge Saturday, either. And if they can't get anyone to cover charge on Saturday, that's their own silly-ass problem isn't it?
Well, then our new manager says no, I am to charge both nights and I will renew my ACLS on the computer on Thursday. Then Friday, I get a heads up from a buddy that they have changed it back to the original that I am not charging on Sunday but am charging on Saturday. Well, bullshit again!! So, I wound up going in on Saturday and got pulled to work the ER. I didn't have to deal with the horse shit at all! And I had a blast. Would I consider working for the bitch of an ER manager? NOT!! She's CERTIFIABLE and a liar as well!
Other than that, my life is going on a pretty even keel. The termination proceedings are under way. So, I'm one step cloer to having my asshole ex-husband out of my life and my kids' lives for fucking ever!! I am studying for a statistics exam on Tuesday. Ike is off these three days so life at home should be good if he'll just not bitch at me. I should be a good girl and clean out our closet so we can fucking breath in there!! :)
I'm a happy person today... if only I didn't have to go to work...
