The last 2 weeks and LJ/DW
Hello all, we came back from our trip late Sunday afternoon. We drove from NY to FL on Tuesday the 8th and arrived in FL on Thursday the 10th. We stayed a week at sister #3's house. It was a great trip and except for one cold day, the weather was beautiful and it was so nice to see my sister. We headed back home on Friday the 18th because we wanted to hit DC on Sunday because we were hoping the traffic won't be too heavy. Our plan worked until we hit NY. NYC weekend traffic plus a few accidents delayed us a good hour.
I am now officially out of vacation mode and back to the old grind. I am not at all happy about it.
I was barely online the whole time I was away. The few times I went online I saw all the panic about Russia turning off the internet. Since there wasn't much I could do, I tried my best to ignore the whole thing.
Even though I have been back home for 4 days I haven't posted because it took me a while to decide what to do about LJ. For right now I am going to continue posting on both LJ and DW but I am going to make DW my main journal with cross-posting on LJ (when I remember). Does anyone on my flist still post solely on LJ?
I have stopped my automatic payment on LJ but I am paid up until December. I have backed up my LJ artwork journal on DW and plan to buy a paid subscription on DW. Who knows what will happen with LJ but I want all my bases to be covered.
In other news, I have (at least for now) given up on the daily questions because I have fallen so far behind. Although I might take it up again at another time.
I hope all on my flist have been well.
