Daily Question
We are expecting snow here so that will be fun (not). While I wait I might as well do the daily question.
2. When you are old(er), what do you think children will ask you to tell stories about?
My kids usually want to hear pet stories. Stories about the pets I had as a kid or as an adult. They never get tired of hearing the same old pet stories.
3. January 3 is Fruitcake Toss Day. Do you like fruitcake? Why does it get such a bad rap?
I like fruitcake but only the one I make myself. My mom had a recipe that had none of the icky stuff in it (citron, orange, and lemon peel) and it's quite tasty. I haven't made it in a few years because it makes a lot of cake.
I think fruitcake gets a bad rap because so much of it is truly horrible.
