Been to an NFL game?- Yes, many years ago when the Giants still played in NY
Been to Canada? - Yes, Niagara Falls twice and Toronto once
Visited Florida? - Yes, several times because sister #3 lives there.
Visited Mexico? - Yes, Acapulco and Mexico City
Visited Vegas? - Yes. I'm not a gambler but I enjoyed some shows and Hoover Dam. The day we arrived the temp was 118 degrees!
Eaten alone at a restaurant? - No
Ability to read music? No
Rode a motorcycle? - No.
Ridden a horse? - No, got brave enough to get up on a horse but that's as far as I got.
Stayed in a hospital? - 3 times for childbirth. One time when I was in third grade after a car accident and once as an infant.
Donated blood? - Yes many times, in fact, I'm a member of the gallon club.
Been snow skiing? - Put the skis on and went to the hill but never actually went down.
Been to Disney World or Disney Land? - Yes, Disney world twice once on my Honeymoon and once several years ago.
Slept outside? - No, not a fan of bugs.
Driven a stick shift? - No
Ridden in an 18 wheeler? - No
Driven a boat? - Yes, when I was young my dad rented a small boat with a motor for us to go fishing. He gave each of us a turn steering the little motor.
Eaten Escargot? - Yes, it was covered in garlic butter and it was yummy.
Been on a cruise? - Yes twice in the last 6 years. Although with COVID running rampant on cruise ships, it will be a long time before I do that again.
Run out of gas? - Yes several times. None of them were my fault. (That's what happens when you aren't the only person who drives the car).
Funny story... One time sister #2 borrowed my car and forgot to tell me she left me dry. I went out for the night and didn't make it all the way home. The gas ran out around the corner. I locked the car and walked the rest of the way home. The next morning I hear my parents saying that my car wasn't at the house and maybe I didn't come home. I yelled down that I was home but I ran out of gas around the corner. My dad started to give me hell "how could you be so irresponsible and didn't you check the gas?" I told my dad I knew how much gas I had left in the car but I forgot my sister borrowed the car and she never told me she left me dry. He told me to wake my sister up and have her get dressed. He made her fill my car and gave her a lecture about never borrowing a car without replacing the gas.
I can't say that she always replaced the gas but if she didn't, she told me and she never left me dry again.
