Phase One, Life Goes On
Hello all, today is the first day of phase one in NYC. We shall see how it goes. I'm optimistic since I feel the governor is on top of things. I just hope people can be careful and respectful, so our 2nd wave isn't horrific. I'm optimistic, not stupid, there is no doubt there will be an increase in numbers, I just hope there won't be too much of an increase.
I've mentioned before that even though I live in NYC, I live just 2 blocks from the city limits. Nassau County is the next county over and on Wednesday they go into phase two, which means offices can open. Hubby and I started the process of making a will in October. Right before the lockdown, I approved the final draft and made an appointment to sign. The lawyer's office changed the appointment 3 times due to the lockdown. Since the office is in Nassau County, we have an appointment for the first day of their phase 2. So we are finally signing the will on Wednesday. It will be a load off my mind once it is signed.
My birthday last week was very nice despite the lockdown. Thank you for all the kind birthday wishes.
