Real life and Icons
It's been over a month since I have posted, I've been trying to make comments but my posting hasn't been on any type of schedule. What has been happening in the last month? I had a cold the end of January the beginning of February. As far as colds go, it wasn't too bad but I find I don't bounce back from a cold like I did when I was younger.*sigh*
My sister Helen's birthday was on February 12th, she would have been 59. It's so hard for me to believe that she is gone and that it has been 8 months. Sister #3 called on her birthday and we commiserated together. Sister #3 said that she hoped Helen knew we loved her. I hope so too. Helen was sweet and put up with all types of shit from non family members but she wasn't always so nice to family. She knew she was hard on us and sometimes mean to us because of her temper tantrums. She always blamed her mental health problems for being difficult, but did she know that we loved her despite the fact that she was sometimes hard to deal with? I sincerely hope so.
I spent yesterday glued to the TV, watching Michael Cohen testify before congress. I felt he was totally believable, even though every Republican, took every opportunity to call him a liar. As Don Lemon on CNN says "if you believe Cohen lied, then Trump did too" Those Republicans throwing stones forget that several months ago Cohen and Trump were saying the same thing. The things Cohen got in trouble for lying about. Wake up America!!!
