Hubby and I went away for a few days last week, we needed it after the hectic summer. We went to Lake George, in upstate NY. Hubby went there as a kid and loved it and I have always wanted to go. I love the comfort of casual clothes but I know that sometimes my outfits scream "mom clothes".

I'm glad you had a nice time, but it's horrible that you picked up a bug while you were away. I tend to do that as well - I try and wash my hands as much as possible to reduce the chances, but it doesn't usually help. People sneeze and cough too much without covering their faces!!

Loose fitting and comfortable sounds perfect to me :)

I try to carry a bottle of hands sanitizer when I go on a trip but this time I totally forgot and now I'm paying the price.

Thank you for the good vibes. The crazy weather certainly didn't help but I think I caught the cold/sore throat because there were tons of people around at Lake George and many of them children. Since I'm not used to being around tons of people and children, my immunities are lower.

I'm also pro-comfy clothes! Especially dresses with pockets. LOL.

Yes, dresses with pockets are the best! I also love hoods on dresses and shirts.
