Steak Diane
Many moons ago, while hubby and I are were on our honeymoon, we went to a restaurant and one of the menu items offered was Steak Diane. I never heard of this dish before but the waiter made a big deal about having it on the menu. It was served for two people and since hubby and I never agree on the same thing to order, we didn't order it. I have never seen it on a menu before or since but I have always been curious about the dish.
Last week I saw several youtube vids on how to make Steak Diane and decided to try and make the recipe. I kind of combined the recipes from 2 vids and it was totally yummy. Now all these years later, I know why the waiter was so hyped about the dish.
