(no subject)
This weekend was pretty good! Friday night, Claighton & I stayed up late playing Rock Band 2, SO MUCH FUN!
Saturday, Claighton got up early to do his Christmas shopping. Laighcey & I went to Guy Fieri's book signing. I bought 2, one for Claighton & one for my auction I have coming up. When Guy saw it was for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, he said that he just flew down to Southern California and met with a child whose wish was to meet him. He said he spent 2 1/2 hours with the kiddo, and then a week later the kiddo passed away :( He started crying. I assured him though, that he made that kiddos wish come true, and he should be happy about that. He gave us big hugs, and we went on our way.
Laighcey & I ordered a martini & a screaming gobler roll and went outside to the back patio & Claighton called and was in the area, so he met us there. It was so much fun! We sat out there for 3 hours, just chatting, and sipping our drinks. It was like we were hanging out in our backyard - until you went inside to pee & found that there was a business running, and guests. Very odd.
I did a little Christmas shopping with Laighcey afterwards for Claighton. He's the only one I need to shop for. Everyone else was done & wrapped a few weeks ago. He was sooo hard to shop for this year, he didn't give me ANY ideas at all... hopefully he'll like what I got him, I'm not going to post it here, because I know he reads this every once in a while :)
We decided to clean the house Saturday night when we got home, it was making me crazy, and it feels much better now!!
Sunday we got up & went to breakfast!! It was rainy and stormy outside, and it was just nice to sit and chat... We got home, and I took a nap - Claighton cleaned out our hot tub, in the rain! Poor guy, he was SOAKING wet when I woke up and went out there. It is crystal clear, and sooo nice again! :)
We played more rock band 2, and then got in the hot tub for a couple hours, did I mention yet, how much I LOVVVVVVVVVVE having a hot tub?!!?
Didn't go to bed last night until 4am, thus waking up reaaaaaaaaly late (12) - blah!
We're going shopping with my dad soon for Christmas dinner stuff... he said since we hosted thanksgiving, he would pay for everything to hose Christmas at our house.....Sounds good to me!!
We're having Christmas with my dad & brothers tomorrow... Claighton is going to fry a turkey again, yummm!!
They'll probably spend the night tomorrow, and we will do Christmas Eve breakfast ... then Christmas Eve will be mine and Claighton's celebration...
Christmas morning we're going to my mom's, she actually didn't invite us this year, and make a huge deal out of it. I asked her if we could come by to bring them their gift, and she was so excited, and said that our being there would be her gift. Eric won't go, he really would like to see my mom, but refuses to see that asshole. I dont blame him, I really dont want to go either, but I haven't seen my mom in a YEAR.
Christmas afternoon/evening we'll be at Claighton's dad's house to do Christmas with them.

Then Saturday & Sunday is RELAXING time, hopefully!
