Two Echidnas pigging out in Tassie.

Hi all. I'm in Launceston with the parents.

Went to see Cataract Gorge today which was quite beautiful.

Then we headed further north, up past Beaconsfield, where the two miners were trapped underground for two weeks back in 2006.

Finally, we arrived for some local animal action at Seahorse World, where we viewed lots of seahorses, seadragons, and baby seahorses the size of large ants. Cute!

Then we went over to the Platypus House next door. The platypuses were cute, but the echidnas were cuter!

Finally, out to the local pub for some dinner, and then up to Low Head Reserve to see the nightly Little Penguin march up the beach.

Here's a video of two echidnas having some dinner. They spent a lot of time inspecting my mother's foot too. I think they thought her toe was a worm or someting!
