More summer in the Southern Hemisphere

Some more shots for honeywoney...

As luck would have it, the Sulphur Crested Cockatoos stopped by for a feed today.

This flock of cockatoos used to live near our old house in Cammeray, which is across the little harbour inlet from where we live now.

They managed to track us when we moved and come begging for food, but they only pop by about once or twice a year now, usually after it rains.



A kookaburra (such a symbol of Australia) happened by our backyard the other day and was sitting on the fence. (Taken through a screened window, unfortunately).



And finally, our pet bird, Loopy, tucked happily under dad's arm for a morning siesta.
