Saturday Animal Maintenance
Ah, my Saturdays are full of Animal Maintenance.
This morning it was:
1) Awoken by screeching baby lorikeets asking for food at my bedroom window at 8am. (they let us sleep in on the weekends)
2) Feed lorikeets nectar
3) Feed lorikeets and Currawongs grapes, while two huge crows land and try to scare everyone else. I think they wanted some food too.
4) Feed baby fish.
5) Check up on sick fish with dropsy in little tank. Both still alive but not looking any better.
6) Feed dog her mobic (anti-inflamatory) and let her wash it down with a Schmacko.
7) Feed bird his toast.
8) Go on long walk down to park with dog. Let dog run in park and kick ball to her. Walk back up the steep steps for some exercise.
9) Wash dog's muddy feet in shower
10) Take bird in shower with me. Afterwards, dry bird and my own hair with hair dryer.
It's a little bit after noon, and I'm already exhausted!
