So long since I've seen you.......

So I haven't really been updating much lately...why? Because I don't know why. I work at a job where I don't get paid enough, I've been living off .25 cent burritos that taste like their made of mushed dog food and oatmeal for the last week, my apartment is right next to a busy noisy street and I can't hear my television when I've finally scrounged up something to watch, I miss my parents, my cute pink shoes that I spent the last pennies that I had on hurt my feet, and I can't find my black bra. But my cat is cute, my apartment is clean and Eric gets paid tomorrow....see I try to look on the bright side.....
And while I'm b*tching. Why is it that I've finally in an apartment that I like and everyone has everything negative to say about it?? My only complaint is the noise from the road. I've heard from other people..."Oh....You're apartment's in the ghetto" or "It looks like a motel" or "It's just too small" and " You have no where to sit..." Okay people let me explain a few things....
Yes, maybe we do live in an area that looks like Little Mexico, but for the most part it's a quiet area. I haven't heard or seen the police once since we moved in. Yes, it does look like a motel. A cute motel with fountains and walkways and huge plants and shrubs that give it a jungle feel once you walk through the complex and get away from the road. Yes, it is small. That's okay. I live here, not you, and I'm okay with little. And no, there's not anywhere to sit. Remember the "small" thing? We got rid of all of our "big" things...(big ugly futon, big ugly entertainment center, big not ugly computer desk) so that we would have more room. We'll get new things later. For now sit on our hard uncomfortable wicker furniture and shut up. Or I have an even better idea. You invite ME over YOUR apartment and cook and clean and stay up late and I can tell you all the things I dislike about where you live. Oh wait a minute. I forgot. My moma taught me manners and I wouldn't diss everything that you've work hard to get. So I guess toss that idea.....
B*stards.
So did I tell you? I can't remember. Eric and I are going to Las Vegas this weekend. His friend Steve booked 2 rooms by mistake and can't get a refund so we get a free room. We should have a little bit of extra money from his paycheck tomorrow so we can do a little bit of something while we're there. I'm not 21 yet so no gambling, but oh well. It'll be fun just to get away for the weekend...
I'm trying to think of if there is anything else that I would like to or need to say. I don't think so for right now so that's about it.
Good Night.
