I don't know. You seem to be attributing a "grrl" title and feelings of feminism to 15 year olds and those who like to hang with them. I don't think that's terribly legitimate. None of the ones I saw on there were talking about "grrlpower" or getting on a "high horse"... they were just whining about the guys in their lives. I'm wondering if you're not angry about some hypocritical feminists somewhere else and are just using this teenybopper gimp list as a reason to dis on feminists.
are they irritating? are they insipid? yes. Are they stupid for being insecure about their weight or feeling like they need men to be happy? in a way, sure... but considering what they're force-fed by society, how surprising is it?
You're not talking about "men" and "women" on the lists you're citing. You're talking about teenagers, and if you're expecting them to be deep, it's no wonder you're disappointed. The rational, deep, interesting 16-year-old of either gender is a rare animal.
