Twilight and Vampires in general.

So...finally went and saw Twilight at the theater today.  I am glad that I went and saw it because it's a lot different than watching a cam-version of it (guilty).  I still don't think they depicted the Cullens as the book did though.  Also, it was more humorous seeing it on the big screen.  I found myself laughing there while I really didn't watching the cam-version.

AAHHH, I also caught sight of Stephenie Meyer, which I missed in the cam-version.  I also missed Bella throwing her backpack down on the ground when she led Edward into the forest to confirm her theory of him being a vampire.  Really, I thought that they had made a blooper there.  That should teach me a lesson.  LOL.

I was surprised though, that there were many there to see it, still, and of different age range too, so I didn't feel so bad.  I would have the first weekend it came out because I am positive that there were tons of teens there watching.  I would have felt out of place.

Afterwards, I stopped by Borders Bookstore to look at some books.  I was tempted to get the Twilight series but decided that I can wait until later.  They didn't have all of them and I have copies of the audio books so I can listen to them when I feel a need to.  I did buy two books (vampire theme of course) and a Debussy cd (with Clair de Lune on it).  I love classical music but for some reason, I didn't have this one.  The books are the Sookie Stackhouse Novels (2 of the 7) by Charlaine Harris.  They were made into a HBO TV series called True Blood.  I've read that the show was really good and that they were given a second season.  I'm looking forward to reading the books and to seeing the TV series.

Anyway...off to reading...

Books
Sookie Stackhouse Novel
1. Dead Until Dark
2. Living Dead in Dallas

CD
Debussy: Clair de lune and other piano favourites

EDIT - I may be putting more in this than it's meant to be as it may just be coincidental but did anyone else realize that Edward died/transformed in 1918, the same year Debussy died as well?  If this has already been covered, my apologies as I am a newcomer to Twilight.
