LONDON or PARIS for NEW YEAR 2011? HELP!!!
I am asking this question to all travelers out there. I want this coming New Year's celebration to be memorable but I am so undecided right now. Originally I wanted to be in Paris, at the Eiffel Tower for the New Years but upon seeing videos of the lighting show compared to London's firework show, I am so torn. My co-worker, who will be my companion, says that that lighting of the Tower happens every night there - she's been to both places, just not at new years. She prefers London because she loves it there but is letting me make the call since this is my first time in either places. She is really determine to love France though and will continue to go back until she finally does, completely. I have always wanted to go to France, therefore I wanted my first trip to Europe to be in France. So please leave a comment and your opinions on which place is best to be. I need to make my choice as I need to book a hotel nearby so that I am close to the show. Either way, I will be visiting both places, just need to know where I should be at New Years. THANKS!!!
