Happy Halloween!
New Darker than BLACK remains awesome. Seriously-seriously, everyone should watch the first season. Then, like, watch this one. IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO JULY, I WILL BE SO UPSET.
It's not as noir-styled, which is a bit sad. The lack of Yoko Kanno music is a let down, as well. Especially since you really get used to the awesome jazz, and the Cowboy Bebop flashbacks therein contained and suddenly this season has pretty generic techno music. It's still really good, though!
I'm as put-off by Hobo!Hei as much as the next, but I disagree that it's a bad piece of character development. I also like how the s1 opening had him walking out of the Gate, and s2 has him walking towards it. Oooooooo.
Work tonight, but it's a short shift. Also, since I can wear cosplay it'll be more fun? Off to sew!
