What a day at work...

So today has been rather interesting at Kabuto....

First off - I got royally pissed at a chef today cause he was yelling at me from across a table in front of my customers.  I nearly went up to him and cussed him out, because I've been in a rather argumentative mood since I woke up early today.  I blame my mother for that one, considering we pretty much had a shouting match at 7:30 in the morning.  What else is new?  Anyway, I pretty much diffused right before we closed down from lunch.

I had a bit of a humorous way of calming back down again, considering that a Raggedy Ann Clown just decided to walk into the restaurant from out of the blue.  She even made us all balloon animals.  It was great.  I was quite amazed at how fast she was making them.  She made me a monkey holding a heart, that's clinging to the sleeve of my shirt.

Thirdly, I had a table where the couple moved from the actual table, went to the bar so the woman could sit down on the guy's lap while he was feeling her up from underneath her dress.  We all saw it.  The guy was fingering  her at the bar.  Kind of hard not to miss, but luckily none of our customers saw anything, and there wasn't anyone there anyway.  The couple had also came in with another pair, so four people all together.  The first time they walked in, Gabby (our part-time assistant manager, goes "Can you smell that? It smells like weed all along this hallway because of those four people that just walked in."  Anyway, in the end, they were incredibly nice.

Other than that, the dinner shift at work was incredibly slow.  I only had three tables tonight, but for the lunch shift it was quite busy.  I got to play with children, so that was fun.  It was a party of 25 children, so it was quite interesting but fun.  I really enjoy being around kids.

Well, I guess that's it...  besides the fact that Jay and I went to play tennis in the morning.  She's trying to get a workout, and so do I, considering I'll be working for the NC Dept. of Corrections.  Anyway, it'll be a good routine to start getting into.

Well I'm pretty tired, so I'll end this here.  Good night everyone.  I'm definitely going to get more sleep tonight.  I'm really beat.
