The Youngstown Women's Black Caucus had previously printed up a bunch of endorsement flyers that didn't have a note on the front and back saying who paid for them. They fixed that and reprinted them, and were distributing those today. A Mahoning County poll worker saw this, and called the county sheriff's office. A sheriff came to the polling place, seized the (new, legal) flyers, and threatened the distributor with jail time. Obama or DNC lawyers were on-site, and followed the sheriff out to his car, where they explained that the flyers were entirely legal and that he was out of line. He relented and gave the flyers back. When the distributor (and the lawyers I think) suggested that it might be appropriate for the poll worker and/or sheriff to apologize to the woman for fucking this up, there was an exciting verbal explosion.
