Start up Teamspeak, click Connect, right click 'servers', select 'add server'.
Label it whatever you want, server address is voice.teamspeak.org. No server password, whatever nickname you like, the rest of the settings are irrelevant. Click 'connect' and you're off.
Click 'channels' and 'create channel'. Name it whatever, give it a password. And then you're pretty much set.
For the push-to-talk thing (highly recommended): Settings, Sound Input/Output Settings. Select the 'push to talk' radio button, then click 'Set' and then press the button you want to use (personally I use 'shift,' which is fairly unobtrusive).
