Why thank you!timetossedFebruary 9 2011, 05:33:27 UTC
She gives him a look. She's quite terrible at looking cross like her mother though.
"You're in England sir. London, to be precise near Shoreditch, if that helps you, sir." She had to really think about that. Having two sets of memories could be rather confusing and left her often pausing to make sure she didn't do anything unseemly.
She certainly seems to be trying to act like a proper young lady.
"It is February 8th, of the year 1842," she says nearly slipping and saying it was 2011. Sometimes her mind just isn't up to speed and she starts using that other set of memories.
"Why are you here? Have you come to see my brother Henry? He isn't here today. He might be back tomorrow though."
She gives him a funny glance. "Why are you wearing a trench coat?"
She shouldn't have said that. The term trench coat wasn't coined until the first World War. Of course she wasn't a history buff so she might not be aware of that. It just seems odd he's wearing one.
"I... Hadn't wanted to consider the implications of flying blue boxes." She's trying to not blush.
"I had just recovered from being quite ill and I had hoped that perhaps.... this was just merely a side effect of being restless after being confined to bed for so long. I am told that sometimes one's imagination runs away with them when their mind has been idle for too long."
She had really started to ramble. There is another sheepish smile. "The coat was merely something my mind latched onto as what I knew as real."
"Well, in that case then. Yes, it is a side effect. See ya!" He said before going back in the TARDIS, and Leaving. The TARDIS started to make a noise then slowly starter to fade away. But within seconds it showed back up, and the Doctor popped his head out of the door.
Wait. Victorian era dresses aren't mad for running. She's going to frown and act very stern then. Mother always makes it work quite well.

"Hello sir." This doesn't look like anything she recognizes. "Why are you in my family's back garden?"

"What was your name?"
Reply
"... Sarah Jones. Why?" She gives him a dry even look. "And you shouldn't tell people things like that. It's rather rude, you know."
Somewhere there's a joke. About him being rude and not ginger.
Reply
"Rude...I keep forgetting I'm rude now..." He ponders that for a moment. "Anyway, Nice to meet you Sarah Jones. I'm the Doctor."
Reply
"Doctor? Doctor who?" Because that can't be his name.
Reply
"Just the Doctor." He grinned.
