Hey! Had a fantastic week following my 'week home alone'...
I had my first day at Kings High on Tuesday; got introduced to a million teachers - I'm not great with face/name rememberence, though picked up on a few. During the evening I went to Poole and watched England play Sweden in 'The Wimbourne' which is another Wetherspoons pwned establishment. I had an enjoyable time with Kev, and Natalie managed to join us for the second half. I loved being vocal about England's progress!
Following day at Kings High was good, and was beginning to feel more comfortable with the network setup. Had TK Maxx in the evening until 9pm - this was really difficult to stay awake for, the only blessing was that I got put on the service desk.
I managed to wake up on Thursday for work at Kings High and tried very hard to push energy through my system. I managed to get through the day. The evening was spent wondering when Atieh would turn up. She'd asked me what time I wanted to go to bed, so I figured that it wouldn't be until later on in the day. The conversation didn't go great, but Atieh's under a lot of stress and pressure at the moment. I ended up not getting to sleep terribly early this night.
Since I had to work Wednesday and had a late night Thursday, Friday's awakening didn't go too well. Dad woke me up at 7:20, thus I really had to rush to get to work for 8am. I had a good day at work though, and looked forward to the evening. Went down to The Quay with Ashley and Shanna for dinner, then walked to Mr Kyp's to see Perfect Alibi. Had an enjoyable night and it was great to spend time with Shanna :-D.
Today I've just been chilling. After much thought I decided to chuck my TK Maxx job away. After tax at 22% on whatever I earn, plus the fact I can either work 5-9 or weekends meant that the job was a bigger liability to me than an asset.
