So... kitten... right.
He's a freaking machine. There aren't any mice within a twelve mile radius of the forge. Can't really complain but... he's sort of taken over the forge for himself. I mean, he lets me in and all but I have to bring fish or catnip as a bribe. I wouldn't mind so much if he let Mika come along too. She's at about seventy pounds and she's terrified of him. Guess they still need to get use to each other.
Sensei is out a mission and I think so is everyone else. Place has been like a freaking ghost town. Except for Leigh... um... Leigh, you know I love you but I really don't need the house redecorated in green. If you want to make me happy, we can just grab Naruko and go out for ramen like normal.

Sensei left me a mission too... sort of. It's the application form for the next jounin exam. Guess that a small nudge. And besides, it can't hurt to just fill it out, right?
