Now on Supergirl Covers!
DC announced it yesterday: I'll now be working on Supergirl covers, along with my good ol' team of inker Richard Friend and colorist Guy Major!
I'm very excited--I'm a teenager at heart and really miss drawing teens from my Fool's Gold days (yes, it was cancelled).
Josh Middleton was the previous regular cover artist on the series, and those are some big shoes to fill! I loved those covers. The trick I guess is to capture what fans loved and yet not get too close to what he did--I've been compared to him in the past as it is! But hey, if I were afraid of daunting tasks I wouldn't be following JH Williams on Batwoman.
I hadn't started reading Supergirl until recently, but plan on staying very up-to-date on Kara herself and what goes on in the interiors in general. The first one's done:
