Books.
Just bought silica gel bead packets to put in my bookshelves.
My friend said she used to use her air con all the time and when she stopped, her bookshelves got mouldy because of the humidity.
Not taking any chances with mine. I have't taken them out to do the usual silverfish check yet though.
Bought a few new books that I tossed in the overflowing 'books to be read' shelf.
Also bought the new Salty Dog, which I'm not that impressed with.
And because I don't learn my lesson, I also borrowed some more books from the library, though most of them are non-fiction sashiko embroidery books.
I also got a new jsk, with a book print on it. Its no IW Royal Library, but it'll sate my yearning for now. You can see it here.
