first of all, CONGRATS to
imprinted_soul and her indian dance team mates whom i don't know at all but congratulate anyway on getting gold with honours in syf! i'm sure it is well-deserved in the very least, which makes me want to see it but NEVERMIIIIND.
also, all the best to
snoorella and the rest of the cedar eldds for the syf results, i have no idea what it was like but it sounded really great. :)
i shall move on the part where i complain about school.
ahh omg this week is crazy. there was the submitting of the speech and publicity materials, duty, running around in the evening trying to find materials for publicity badges, the speech rehearsal today, the need to make more badges fast, project work, eldds board, reading circle publicity materials, yj investiture ideas on theme, logo and souvenirs, council elect group publicity materials and strategy and speech AND ITS ALL SO UGH AHHHH. there's so much stuff. i don't have time to do ANYTHING.
and its just two months into j1.
and drama syf is next year. one of the elects wants a leading role, which makes me go wtf because come on next year is A year and its almost definite you'll be in council and you still want a LEADING ROLE. your time management skills would have to be epic. (oh but she's totally cool. really. she is one of my favourite elects, and she'll be in my elect group. :D unfortunately, so will be my least favourite person in the entire school, but i shall stay positive and be at peace with the world. )
randomly, i have found a czech republic fanboy. srsly. he's one of the choir members that went to prague last year, it was so weird and random how i met him. i was walking out of yj via the covered walkway, and i was hurrying so i overtook this trio of seniors, and four meters ahead i heard 'bla bla bla czech republic bla bla bla' and i kinda whirled around and went 'WAIT WHAT' and probably scared them all lol because i thought they might be talking about me. but anyway this one guy, he was so excited that he started ranting about football and the trip and everything, and i was just like omg because he actually pronounced the place names correctly (which is AMAZING.) and he can name all the details of all the tournaments c.rep played in since like the 1940s or something. like who was in what group and beat who and who scored the goal in what minute and why it got in etcetera etcetera. it was a little disturbing. i ended up talking with him for like 20 minutes. actually he did most of the talking lol.
i didn't find the materials i wanted for my badges at spotlight, but i devised a new method of getting the safety pins to stick properly, and its quite effective :) a penknife and glue are involved, but i'm quite proud of it.
ARGH SPEECH TOMORROW PLEASE GOD LET IT BE OVER.
