rejoice! rejoice! oh i realized that in addition to not defiling the school with permanent marker, we also didn't raid the waffle shop. D: ohmai.
in spite of that, today was a lovely day. the biology paper was easy, and we went to watch Madagascar 2 with Ochie, Nika, Pipi, Pipi's mom and ErYu. i initially wanted to watch Quantum of Solace, but Madagascar won by majority vote, and it wasn't that bad. it was quite entertaining actually. little cub Alex and the little squeaky fluffy feller they call Mort or something (i wonder why. it means 'dead' in french. ) getting flung off a plane and almost eaten by a shark (oh. thats why. ) are so cute. heheheh.
we struggled around orchard road for ages, trying to decide where to go and eat. we didn't want fast food, nothing too expensive, and something that had an acceptable vegetarian menu. we wound up under takashimaya. the japanese stuff i had was quite filling, the purple pickle slices had a strange sour fishy taste. i felt kinda bad for Ochie because in the end she decided on only a fruity smoothie, due to the lack of satisfactory vegetarian food in the vicinity. ):
after lunch most of us parted ways, i stayed around with Ochie and we walked around Orchard, looking at clothes in shops :) she was looking for a vest in the affordable price range. we walked around until like three, and she suggested we go to coffee bean where she could eat something while i have coffee. unfortunately, the coffee bean at taka that she wanted to go to seems to have disappeared, so we just took that train home. my ears were popping from thirst at the end of the whole day, i should have brought a water bottle instead of the cupcakes heh.
they had a big Wall.E model outside the cinemas! camera opportunities, i say :D part of the poor little guy's eye piece was flopping off.
Nika (in her uber cute new hairstyle ) meets her fluffy alter ego! we note that she takes a liking to characters with unusual front teeth. fluffy rodent dude in transparent sphere and Mater from Cars are proof. :)

at bishan i was thinking about something Ochie said, how she was going to make a list of tv shows/movies to watch, friends to go out with, books to read etc etc and i remembered i really missed terry pratchett D: i'm letting my dad read 'small gods' and he's taking an awfully long time, and at bishan i suddenly went 'omg library' and motored my way up to the third floor. i don't really go to the library much. but i got four books mwahahaha. i'm going to become a book hermit in my room for a while. i've just started on 'monstrous regiment', the yellow book on the right, and it reads something like twelfth night, there's a girl dressing up as a soldier. seems good so far. i love pratchett. :)
