Heather had a Quesidilla maker at our UC apartment. That got me hooked. As soon as she graduated I bought one myself, lol. I just made quesdillas the other day. LOVE! Yum.

Yes, that thing was awesome. She still has it, to my knowledge!

I do still have it. Foreman grill works too, but mine is angled, so stuff would fall out.

Ours is angled, too, but it's one of the bigger ones so the angle isn't too steep. I think it'll work. Plus, using one kitchen tool for multiple things is a space saver! YAY!

Yeah, my quesadilla maker I keep in my cupboard and it doesn't really fit. :-p

I haven't used it in awhile though. I end up throwing away the wraps/shells because I don't use them fast enough. :(

Um... wraps go bad? Man. I just bought 6 packages (they were on sale & you got $0.20 off of gas to buy that many, anyway) I think it will probably take us a few weeks to use them, but storing them in the fridge I've had them last a month or longer! It's just flour, salt, and water anyway.

What Amy said below, they dry out... and yes, they last about a month, but with a dozen in a pack that's more than two a week for an individual purchaser... no thank ya!

I ate 4 tonight... :-)

Uh... That gives me a stomach-ache to think about. Unless they're really small ones, like the size of a fist. How big were they?

Reply

They were the smallest size. 1 quesadilla would hardly have been enough, so we bought had 2 and there went the bag!

I thought you said *you* had 4. What brand? How many in the bag?

I did! I had 4 tortillas... I thought that was what we were talking about. Mission. 8.

I confused. Do you fold one over filled, or have two, like sandwich slices with the stuff between?

2 tortillas = 1 quesadilla! We do it sandwich style. :-P

I get the corn ones and so they give you like a million of them in a package. They don't really go bad as much as just get dry and crumble really easy. I usually throw them out when they look and feel really dry.
