I just call it juice - partly because the kids can only say juice and so they know what i'm doing :)

I won't buy a can. Only a bottle.

well.. soda would be Mineralwasser/Selters if it's just carbonated water, or Limonade if it tastes like lemon etc, and coke is Cola. then there's also Fanta, Sprite and whatnot.

and I drink everything out of the bottle :D

If it's already cold, I just drink it out of the can. If it's not cold, I pour it in a glass with ice, though I don't really like to do that because I'm not a big fan of diluted soda (I don't get ice in my fountain sodas, either). Needless to say, when I buy cans of soda, they go straight into the fridge.

I dislike carbonated beverages in general. However, if there is a glass around and I open a can of beer...the beer goes into the glass.

Preference for glass with ice. Mostly because I can't stand the carbonation and like it watered down. Also, like others it depends on the situation.
