The spoils of war
I have got to share some of the awesome deals I got today & yesterday. If I had managed to go shopping Wednesday or Thursday, there wouldn't have been such slim pickin's, oh well.
4 bags of bows - $0.30 each
2 spools of really nice ribbon with wire and everything - $0.10 each
4 rolls of nice wrapping paper (2 green, 1 transformers, 1 pooh & tigger*) - $1.00 each
2 Quizzels* (500 pc)- $1.25 each
Spider man stickers and Pirates of the Caribbean temp tattoos - $0.05 each pack
2 really nice bras - $2.50 each (HOLY SHIT good deal)
4 shirts - $8 or less each
1 skirt - $2.50
2 pairs of pants - ~$15 each
1 shirt for Mike - $7
1 very secret present for Mike - $25 (mwahahahaha.. he won't read this, but I don't want to take any chances)
I got a bunch of other stuff & did some MAJOR grocery shopping. I've got everything ready for making hors d'oeuvres for New Years Eve. I'm doing Jalapeño Pinwheels, Cheese Fondue (with various dipping things), and Chocolate Fondue (with various dipping things). I also picked up the movies (Bend it like Beckham & Click) for the night. Turns out Grandma & Grandfather & Aunt Carol are all coming on Monday! WOOO PARRRRRTTAAAAYYY! :-P It's going to be awesome. Oh, I gotta remember to bring more games. Hm.
