Okay. First of all let me state that it wasn't a car accident as such. There was only a flat tire and an enormous loss of dignity involved, but had there been a tree in any vicinity of that highway exit, I would have been a dead Kitty.
Yeah.
So what actually happened was I took a turn too fast, spun twice across the road and landed with the car pointing towards the road, and a burst tire from where the drivers-seat wheel struck the curb. Other than that, the car was fine, and I was fine. Except for a heap of bruised pride.
But goddamn, it was scary.
Anyway. I got some help from friendly!stranger who knew how to change tires, and after forcefully telling myself not to panic several times, I managed to limp the car to where I needed to be - and then inspect damage.
The wheel allignment is out, and the car is suffering from a slight drift to the right, but other than that, no damage! (I'm personally amazed, I was going about 80km/h (about 60 or so mph) and the car's fine. I've always been a lucky bastard simultaneously with my moments of great stupidity. Anyway. Did what I had to do, drove home and got here alright.
I'm not going to be driving down that particular highway again for a long time though.
