PLACEBO - and other things....
So I went to see one of my favourite bands. Actually, they are my favourite band other than Nine Inch Nails. Its weird to say, but its true. More than deadsy, more than Bowie, even more than lunarclick. I love them. And after liking them since I don't know when, I finally got to see them. I hadn't been this nervous about seeing a band in a long time. And it was incredible.
It was the best concert I've seen since Nine Inch Nails in 2000. It just blew me away. The atmosphere was great. Everyone there was there in good spirits and wanting to see placebo. I got floor tickets and I was pretty close to the stage. When we were in line, I would look at other fans trying to size them up on how they would be once inside. They all looked like dainty electro/Mod kids. I was so wrong in thinking they wouldn't get wild. It was just so cool. The crowd went insane with every song, and everyone was DANCING. During some song everyone was just like dancing with eachother in a really sexual manner. It was hot and sweaty and great. Some girl behind me was like putting her arm around me during songs as we jumped around. And this gay guy next to me was dancing with me and the girl next to him during another song. Everyone was singing along to every word.
They played practically the entire new album (Sleeping with Ghosts) and played a lot of old favourites. They did 3 encores. After the first set was done, Brian (the singer/guitarist) said "we'll be right back after we grab some tea and biscuits, thank you!" It was cool. I bought a shirt. And I'll be wearing it tomorrow. This concert is something I will not soon forget.

Speaking about tomorrow; I get to see Claudia, Carlton, Rayshele & Co. tomorrow!! I'm excited. At least I found something to wear. Claudia and
I were talking about how we didn't know what to wear. Now I know I'll just wear my new Placebo shirt.
My favourite song right now is Evil by Ladytron. I just love it.
I want to cut my hair.
