Stepping into a New World

Lately I've been going out quite a bit. The urge came upon me suddenly, and I haven't been able to shake it. All I want to do is be out and about in the city, wandering around. The weather has been absolutely beautiful!

Yesterday was a really good day. Clear skies, and around 80 degrees. I was going stir-crazy, and really wanted to be outside enjoying the nice weather before it gets any cooler. Arizona sits on a teeter-totter when it comes to weather, it seems. It's nice one day, and the next it just turns bitterly cold and stays that way for the rest of the season. There's no inbetween.

Everyone had to go to work, so I thought that I'd just take the bus somewhere. But then Noah saved me. He called in to work, and he whisked me away to his friend Christopher's house. They were having a yard sale, however, like Christopher's mother said, they don't have yard sales, they have events. (She is a dear treasure of a woman! Such a sweetheart.) He and his mother have a gorgeous home. And Christopher is just a big cutie. He was worried becaue he didn't get a chance to clean up before we got there. He was out being creative and landscaping, like a boy. :)

After meeting Christopher and his mother, we went to Best Buy so I could buy a cd. :D Then we went to Applebee's for appetizers and a beer. After stealing some stuff off the table (NOAH!) we decided it would be fun to walk around downtown, smoking ciggies and talking.

We went to a couple of shops and Noah showed me the insides of some bars I'd never been into. I finally got to see Sea of Green, our hydroponic competitor. They have nothing on us. Their plants look terrible. :P

Upon sitting outside at Rainbow Planet, we heard a most disturbing noise. Karaoke, coming from IBT's!!! We rushed over in time to see someone singing a horrible rendition of a Mariah Carey song. Oh, the horror! We left quickly, deciding to return at a later time that evening...which we did.

It was so nice to go out and see so many friends at the same time. I miss everyone so much. Life is really about spending it with people you enjoy, I think. Smiling, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. I am very lucky to have so much of it at this time in my life. Very lucky indeed.
