[Mod Post] Update-related stuff!
This place has been pretty quiet lately, so I thought I'd give it a nudge and see if there's some way we can start getting it going again. :3 I know it's possibly the busiest time of year with finals and graduations and the like (except for the poor souls who are in school for another month, like me), but I thought I'd give this place a poke anyway. In the meantime, here are a few things that have been updated:
+ This community's profile page has been updated, as have the rules. We are now allowing doujinshi (fan manga) posts as long as YOU are the artist/author of the doujinshi. Art quality is not a question here, but we would like proper spelling and grammar (and proper characterization, of course). If you spot any problems or have general questions, feel free to comment about them here.
+ I am considering messing with the layout as well, and while I probably won't have too much trouble coming up with something, contributions to that end (ideas, images, tag lines, etc.) are more than welcome.
+ I am also considering holding a fanfiction contest here over the summer, but I wanted to see if there was an interest in doing so first. Since we're still a pretty small community, I was thinking we could open the contest to everyone - including non-members - and have the entries either be voted on by the community members (I have several ideas of making this work), or we could have a judging panel. Any feedback on this general idea would be greatly appreciated!
