Hello tenth_fic community! Since the community is still small in number and growing, things have been pretty quiet. So I thought I'd kick it off with some Hitsugaya fic! I just got back from spending far too much money on Bleach merchandise at Anime Expo, and I'm in the mood

First of all, thank you very much. :) Secondly, please don't apologize for not reviewing; I'm guilty of the same sin too much of the time. Sometimes the days just seem to busy, and fanfic reading is guilty pleasure as it is. Heheh. Thirdly, I'm glad you found it at ff.net, because as you can see I've been too scatter-brained to actually get the rest of it posted here on tenth_fic, though I've been meaning too. I think mostly I've been feeling guilty about... er... not having, you know, actually finished the story. :-/

Anyway, I'm really happy that you're enjoying the story so much. If other Hitsu-fans think I've done a good job, then I have succeeded in what I hoped to achieve with him. Woohoo!! :)

I have to admit getting your comment in my inbox made me very curious, though, as I'm afraid I haven't had the time to really surf LJ lately and wasn't quite sure what you were talking about. I'm afraid I wasn't the one who left a reply to your post. :( But your drawing of academy Hitsu is adorable! I love him in the blue and white uniform. Napping on the job, heh. Though more than likely just exhausted from trying to work too damn hard, as usual. Yours is only the second academy Hitsu art I've seen; I found the other on deviantart some time ago, but I think I stupidly didn't bookmark it. I'll see if I can find it again.

I insist on apologising because I try to make it a point to leave concrit whenever I can, and fic as enjoyable as yours deserves to be declared such! Compliments to the chef, as it were. =D (So meanwhile, your fic is going to be my bedtime story for tonight so I can review properly tomorrow!)

It figures that you wouldn't anonymously leave a comment like that -- you might want to be wary of this person who claimed your fic as theirs. Although at least they left themselves as anonymous, if that's any consolation...?

Thanks re: academy!Hitsu =P (I personally see it as him finally stealing forty winks after working too hard and trying too hard to do the "sleep is for wimps" thing...) He was fun to draw and I'm planning to do more anyway since there's plenty of normal Taichou!Hitsu out there. Your fic will definitely help with the inspiration! (You can probably expect fanart for your fic from me! :P)
