Hey Folks.
I know I'm a bit behind on applications (waiting to get a second opinion on a few, since I think it isn't entirely fair that only my opinion counts, hehe), but I will hopefully have them taken care of very soon. This is my effort to make this community pretty flexible and yet still selective, and not only selective solely by my terms.
But as for the main reason for this post, I'm asking people to please APPLY first before clicking the "join community" link. I've had a decent number of "request for membership" e-mails popping up in my inbox with no accompanying applications. There is a separate "monitor community" button at the top of the profile; please use that if you just want to keep an eye on the community, but don't necessarily want to be a member (the main difference is that members can post, though anyone can leave comments). This is not an open community.
