OVERALL
looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
i wrote more than i thought i would, which is nice, because all of them seemed of pretty decent quality. it seems like i have so many ideas to write and never enough time to fulfill all of it so i'm satisfied with the amount i wrote this year :)
did you take any writing risks this year?
yesss, i wrote pairings that i would have never dreamed about writing, and i branched out especially with my ficmix this year. darker angst, which was kind of cool, i think.
do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year?
chaptered fic, maybe some r-rated stuff. more variety within my pairings, since it seems the only non-smtown pairing i write is gd/cl.
BEST AND WORST
my best story of this year:
ah, wow, i'm proud of a lot of the fics i wrote this year. i think playing with fire was one of my best because of its style of writing and i really liked the plot, as well as she looks better in red because some of the lines stuck out to me and i was quite proud of my wording.
my most popular story of this year:
undoubtedly p.d.a, i think that's the most amount of comments i've ever gotten on a fic. kaistal really does bring in the shippers. sigh.
story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
i think recovery, although the topic might be quite controversial so its understandable. but i spent a lot of time so i'm pretty proud of it, to say the least <3
most fun story to write:
ah, wow, i always have fun writing fics. i think some of my favorites probably would have been p.d.a, the lonely road and lovely nights, the last one mostly because music-inspired fics are my favorite kinds of fics.
story with the single sexiest moment:
hands down she looks better in red, although i think we could be lovers was pretty hot too.
story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
rather than shifting my perception, i think my last seokyu fic i wrote, burnt flesh, helped me fall out of the pairing. when i see them interact it still makes me a little giddy on the inside but i think i've moved on from my favorite otp, which was kind of a heartbreaking realization for 2013 fandom wise. rip seokyu
hardest story to write:
the dancing waiters, for the amount of sekai i read i seem to have a lot of trouble writing them. sigh.
biggest disappointment:
i can't say i was majorly disappointed with anything this year, although i guess if i had to choose it would probably be the way to grow up. i think i need to practice writing gd/cl a little more.
biggest surprise:
i think poetry club was my biggest surprise, because although the fic wasn't necessarily bad it was just very out of the blue. gd and krystal were a nice crack ship while they lasted.
most unintentionally telling story:
how it should have been, because although i guess i don't really ship seokyu anymore, it was a strangely nice, bitter way of looking at relationships, and i think it probably relates truest to my feelings of romance in real life. a fic i was pretty satisfied with, i'd have to say.

she rolls underneath the covers late at night and wonders if this is what high school romances are supposed to be like, if the heartbreak will follow and the tears will stain the porcelain white of her skin, because emotions are for raging teenagers and jinri supposes that's exactly where she is right now.
