What are your anime "rules"? I already know you hate genki girls.
Of the anime you mentioned just now, I've seen "Howell's Moving Castle," "Princess Mononoke," parts of "Death Note," including the first two or so episodes, and the beginning of "Akira."
I'm a bit surprised you didn't like "Death Note" (which I liked) but far more surprised you liked "Howell's Moving Castle" (which I found boring). Wouldn't it be ironic yet appropriate if we both got really into anime -- and yet there wasn't even a *single* title we could agree on?

As for "Dollhouse" ... I think it's been getting better, generally speaking, but I still find it tepid. I do like Topher Brink and Dr. Claire Saunders and can imagine liking Topher's assistant -- trust me to latch onto the three science dorks the series has introduced. But most of the rest I wish would just hurry up and get killed by Alpha already. I guess Boyd Langton can survive. I'm generous like that.
