Good Day
Today went well...besides tripping while handing out the syllabus...damn carpet. I'm taking Prof. S.'s undergrad course on early American women. I've wanted to work with her and I basically have her all to myself...she's so cool and encouraging. Like a Meg Lota. Anyway, things are looking up. I have to make a decision on my committee soon .... and an area of study. Urg. I hate decisions...which is why this one wasn't made last quarter. Also, the prof. I'm TAing Intro to Poetry with is awesome. Amanda, you'd love her. She's so sardonic...and pregnant, which is a great combo. She just cracks me up. She tells her TAs to be nurturing because she can't be. Anyway, she's great. It feels good to go to U Hall and run into five or six people that all stop to talk to me. I feel like I belong here.
