Lol, well, yeah I am also surprised Black Cherry freaks didn't bash you. Lol and yeah I'm totally gay myself so I understand your logic that if you are one you can say "faggot" accusingly as much as possible!

Hmmm, watersugar, Supernature does sound a bit half-assed, and more along the lines of Black Cherry, but even so, it is very different from Black Cherry in the sense that Black Cherry seemed more dark and moody and thick and full. Supernature so far doesn't have any of that, but is more light and energetic and more carefree, which isn't a good thing in their case because it isn't in the least bit meaningful, the lyrics seem to have no substance to them which is something that Goldfrapp has never done. I've always loved their lyrics, but their lyrics now just plain suck. And although a lot of songs are horribly catchy and probably will be enjoyed by most pop fans (those who love strict machine and twist a little too much) I think in the long run Supernature will be faded out, blended in, and easily forgotten. By Goldfrapp fans at least. It seems like Goldfrapp's trying to bring in a totally new set of fans, the 80s pop crowd. I guess. And that probably won't go over too well either.

But nonetheless I'll buy Supernature and hopefully it'll at least be decent. I'm looking forward to Koko. If not then Goldfrapp better get their act together with some b-sides or the following album.

Right now I have Goldfrapp listed as my second favorite artist (my first being bjork) but if Goldfrapp continues on their 80s pop phase I'm slipping them down the list and PJ Harvey shall take their place in my heart.

I actually didn't mind Black Cherry too much, although lyrics-wise, it was no Felt Mountain. I sense there's a wide difference between Supernature and Black Cherry, though I feel a common thread, and it feels like they evolved away from the things that made Black Cherry good. And maybe I'm just a literature geek, but I like song titles spelled out. That's just my opinion, though.

Oh, and I adore Bjork! I found Medulla hard to swallow, but I love her so much I don't care. Who can fault her ambition?
