Kemono no Souja Erin
I seriously can't believe this show is for kids.
Episode 6 was one of the saddest things I've seen in a long time. Episode 7, where Soyon actually died, wasn't as sad as how obvious it was in 6 that she was about to die. I-I don't even know how to explain it, I was just so choked up when Soyon pulled out all the stops and just did everything she knew Erin liked because Soyon knew she was going to be executed. The bracelet and her favorite food... I sat for a few minutes in front of my computer and just cried.
It was kinda strange that day actually, because earlier we were watching Barefoot Gen in my Film Studies class and although I've never cried for Grave of the Fireflies, this show had me crying at the end when like... everyone died. It's rather rare for the mother to survive.
Also, still enjoying Chrome-shelled Regios lol. I figure it's probably largely due to the younger guy/older girl relationship.
