A week in fashion

Yesterday was a busy day! In the morning, I went to the Fashion District with yoshikochan, where I picked up the most amazing cloth... more on that later. ;D The afternoon/evening was spent with miao_ji and dreamingpixie at the Grove to watch He's Just Not That Into You, which was actually pretty cute and clever. I thought it sort of had a Love Actually vibe to it so if you liked that one, you might enjoy this. :D And at night, I went with wabisuke, vespabee, and others to the Shine Like A Diamond event that diavana invited us to. It was really awesome to see what some of the people there were wearing!

There was this really strange... Hello Kitty shrine there.

Me with vespabee... Uhhh sorry for the unflattering picture. DDDD:

Me with my best bud, Hannah Montana. :DDD

What was this called again? xDD It was a small booth where you just get in and dance lol.

The dancefloor. This was just the beginning so no one was really dancing haha.

The venue also doubled as a kind of art exhibition.

Awesome. xD

A mitten! I was sorely tempted to buy a pair since it was only $20.

HAPPY!

So at the Fashion District, the amazing cloth I picked up was some printed cotton with LITTLE BOYS on it. It's like all I ever wanted!!! So I made shorts out of it this morning instead of doing anything productive. xD

They sorta look like boxers but they have pockets and stuff. :D

Close-up of the design. &hearts

Also, I'm kind of really interested in fashion and I always read the fashion blurbs on Yahoo.com so this week I thought I'd take a picture of what I wore each day just for fun. I do actually spend a bit of time planning outfits and stuff. :p

I was going for some kind of 50's thing? xD

Some people liked the scarf; others didn't.

I think I was confused on Thursday... xD I was attempting some kind of hip Victorian thing.

Hehe new skirt. :D

I've been posting so many pictures lately... so weird. D:
