How could you just end it there? Just when I was getting into this fic!

I rather liked the way you meshed the two universes, but I'm a little bummed that you didn't get to really explore the idea of Jess being a Slayer.

It was a good read while it lasted. =)

I considered exploring Jess as a Slayer more. Originally I had her going on a patrol with Dawn before talking to the Council, maybe even spending her summer vacation training with Faith in Cleveland. But ultimately I had to cut that out because A. this is Dawn-centric so in order to write about Jess going to the Council, Dawn would have to be with her and it was too early for that. B. Jess needed to be easily killed by the yellow eyed demon which meant she had to be untrained. C. Dawn couldn't know much about Sam which meant not getting too close to Jess

I totally get it. Sometimes we want things that are bad for us. Lol.

And as I was just saying to someone else, it's much better to have a complete shorter story than to have one that will never be finished. =)
