Beware!! The sky is falling!!!
Here's my update that I supposedly promised you people :P Anyway, life hasn't been too bad lately. There's been some shitty things that happened, but can't complain too much. I'm now working as a Geek Squad Agent and getting paid quite well I might say. I like my new job, my co-workers are awesome. My car is still doing good, and all the nonsense with school appears to be hopefully panning out...oy. I'm ready to be done with college and move on let me tell you! The crappy thing that just recently happened was me pulling my stomach muscles while doing my Army PT test for my promotion to Sergeant, that blew! So, unfortunately I won't be getting my promotion until later than originally hoped, but it's not that bad. Umm...another cool thing! Next month and also in October I get to play with this!!
We're doing test firings in Sept to get used to it, and then myself and only 3 other guys from my Unit (out of 300 some soldiers I might add) get to do this. w00t!! We also have our standard weapons qualification next two months so I can finally get my damn Expert badges in M16 and my 9mm!! >:O Umm...other than that not much is going on in my world. Just work, Army, school...that's my life lol. Kinda boring sometimes, but oh well!
*Edit* Almost forgot to mention the really shitty thing that happened. My buddy Specialist Switzer was killed in Iraq on August 3, 2005 by an Iraqi sniper as he tried to carry a little girl out of a combat zone. He was shot in the back killing him almost instantly, as well as mortally wounding the 6 year old girl. He was a good soldier and a hero; he was posthumously awarded the Silver Star. He will be missed greatly among his peers and fellow soldiers. Rest in Peace soldier.
